Meet the GRACE Center Staff

Chris has a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johnson State College in Vermont. He is licensed in the State of Michigan as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Chris has experience as a Lead Clinical Therapist at Great Lakes Recovery Youth Residential Center before coming to the agency in 2018. He has extensive background in mental health and youth Services. Chris is the Senior Counselor at the agency providing substance abuse counseling, children and family counseling and assessments.
Carol holds a B.A. in Office Administration from Central Michigan University. She has been employed with G.R.A.C.E. Center since 1995 in this same capacity. In April 2008, she was promoted to Administrative Director, sharing many of the administrative duties with the Clinical Director. Carol is responsible for all accounting and financial reporting. She is the agency’s Recipient Rights Advisor and grants/contracts writer. Carol has held positions of increasing responsibility in the management of office operations for a variety of businesses since graduating from CMU. She moved to the Grayling area in 1994 and has been active in the community serving as the Board Chairperson for the AuSable Valley Youth Service Bureau and is active in her church/Diocese as well.
Jody holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University and an LPN Certificate in Nursing from Northern Michigan University. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. She has experience as a counselor for children and family therapy. She holds a License in Professional Counseling from the State of Michigan. She began her employment at G.R.A.C.E. Center in 2005 as Counselor providing Child/Family counseling under our contract with Department of Health and Human Services and Meridian Health Plan. Jody also provides counseling in addictions (both substance abuse and gambling), treatment for individuals, groups and families.
Kristen Todoroff earned a bachelors of arts in Criminal Justice in 2015. With a passion to help others she then obtained her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health counseling from Western Michigan University in 2019. She completed
her internship at G.R.A.C.E. Center in the Spring of 2019. After obtaining her degree, she joined the agency as a Counselor. She is currently a licensed LLPC with the State of Michigan. Along with her Masters, she has obtained a certification in alcohol and drug treatment. Kristen is new to the field, but has experience in the juvenile justice system, working with youth, and with her internship experience at the GRACE center.
